Shawnee Smith, born July 3, 1970, at a height of 5'3 inches, is an American musician and actor. Smith's most well-known roles include in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith once fronted the group metal Fydolla Ho with which she performed in throughout the United States and the United Kingdom and is half of Smith & Pyle an American desert country-rock band with the actress Missi Pyle. The parents of Shawnee Smith are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-pilot in the United States Air Force. He was also a financial planner and oncology specialist. Smith's family moved from South Carolina to Van Nuys California in the year she turned one year old. Her parents split at age two. her mother was married again when she was eight. Her school was Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, as well as Madison Jr. High School located in North Hollywood. The same year, she appeared in the film"What do I want to do now with my life? which included a week-long residency in the venue Just For Laughs.
